Description
  • Collaborate as a member of a cross-functional Product Team and the software development team; contributing to both the discovery and delivery work on the product for which your Product Team is accountable.
  • Build integration tools for emerging automation and data technologies.
  • Help create the next generation of software applications in the consumer goods industry.
  • Develop and extend libraries to improve the organization’s speed to market and code quality.
  • ​Collaborate with leading consumer goods makers, retailers, and category management professionals.
  • Apply existing & emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Work virtually with the rest of the team across North America.
Qualifications

Skills, experience, and attitude we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years IT experience including design/development.
  • Expert with .NET/.NET Core platform and C# concepts, in particular polymorphism, generics, functions/delegates, reflection, and LINQ.
  • Skilled in consuming/producing data feeds from varied sources (local files, FTP, databases, web APIs).
  • Experience writing utility libraries from scratch; not just consuming the existing.
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative cross-functional Product Team in an agile  environment.
  • Well-developed diagnostic, investigative, and analytical skills.
  • A demonstrated ability and interest in picking up new technologies.
  • A love of learning and working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • An undergraduate degree, diploma or better in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science or equivalent discipline or equivalent level of industry related experience.

Things that aren’t required but would raise you above the rest:

  • Experience working directly with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Experience with data and databases (SQL Server, SQLite, Entity Framework).
  • Blue Yonder (JDA) Category Management suite knowledge
  • Understanding of containerization, inversion of control principles, API documentation, authorization/authentication layers.
  • Front-end web application development proficiency.
  • Automated testing experience.
