Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Investor Sourcing & Outreach
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with accredited investors, family offices, and HNW investors.
- Represent organization at industry events, investment forums, and referral networks.
- Leverage LinkedIn and professional networks to generate qualified investor leads.
Capital Raising
- Present offering memorandum, investor presentations and investment structures clearly and compliantly to prospective investors.
- Guide investors from initial contact through to funded commitments.
- Achieve individual capital raise targets aligned with quarterly and annual company goals.
Investor Relations & Retention
- Build long-term relationships focused on repeat participation across multiple raises.
- Communicate project updates, distributions, and performance reporting.
- Support preparation of investor presentations and quarterly updates.
Compliance & Reporting
- File the F1 Report of Exempt Distribution for organizations capital raises.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for clients.
Qualifications
Required
- Registered as a Dealing Representative with our EMD, or able to become registered in a timely manner.
- 3–5 years of experience in the sale of exempt market products, investment sales, or capital markets.
- Proven track record raising capital from accredited investors in real estate or alternative investments.
- Strong understanding of securities regulations and investor suitability requirements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with real estate development, MIC, or construction finance products.
- Existing network of accredited investors, advisors, or family offices in Ontario.
- Multi-province registration (AB, BC) considered an asset.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and investor reporting tools.
