Description
- Develop and implement long-term Education & Workforce Development Strategy.
- Review, modernize, and expand existing education and certification programs.
- Design comprehensive learning pathways for industry professionals.
- Lead curriculum development for online, virtual, and in-person education.
- Oversee the continued growth and effectiveness of the client’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Build partnerships with educational institutions, industry experts, and government stakeholders.
- Collaborate with volunteer committees and subject matter experts to develop high-quality educational content.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen workforce development and support future skilled trades recognition.
- Support education programming delivered through conferences, events, webinars, and professional development initiatives.
- Monitor industry and educational trends to ensure client remains at the forefront of professional learning.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A post-secondary degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of seven years’ experience leading education, curriculum development, certification, training, or workforce development initiatives.
- Experience designing and delivering adult learning programs.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to build collaborative relationships and influence diverse groups.
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Experience working in the industry is considered an asset. Experience with associations, professional certification, post-secondary education, skilled trades, or workforce development organizations is considered an asset.
