Compensation Range
$22 - $24/hrCompensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, and may also be influenced by internal equity and market conditions.
Description
- Loading and Unloading Trucks
- Banding of skids
- Be able to operate both automatic and manual lift trucks
- Shipping of all material produced (Incl. US Shipping/Customs Documentation)
- Providing Shipping estimates as requested
- Determine specifications for upcoming kitting jobs, checking the output at various stages and chart the flow of work through the production process
- Able to manage multiple work flows
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, make minor repairs, and perform routine maintenance on machines
- Kitting of print on demand orders
- Support Digital Press operations (Training will be provided)
- Program and cut to industry specifications using programmable 40’ cutter
- Operate folder, small stitcher, digital die cutter, creaser and laminator
- Operate a Seal A Tron L-bar Sealer
- Ordering of shipping and other related supplies
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills required
- Experience using on-line shipping tools (Freightcom, FedEx, Purolator etc.)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of any other bindery processes an asset
- Have logical problem-solving skills and be creative in troubleshooting
- Strong independent decision-making skills
- Be capable of working in a team environment to meet client deadlines
- Have a very keen eye for detail and strong quality control skills
- An understanding of Digital Print & Die Cutting an asset
