Project Coordinator, Fundraising and Development

Compensation Range
$55K - $65KCompensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, and may also be influenced by internal equity and market conditions.
Description
- Coordinate and support fundraising and development initiatives, including capital campaigns, donor engagement, and sponsorship programs
- Assist in the development of campaign materials including donor packages, proposals, and briefing documents
- Conduct prospect research and support donor pipeline development
- Execute donor cultivation and prospect outreach through mail, email, and phone, including coordinating meetings, tours, and relationship-building touchpoints
- Coordinate internal teams to execute campaign deliverables across creative, communications, and digital channels
- Develop and manage project timelines, critical paths, and deliverables
- Monitor progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or changes
- Support client communications and relationship management
- Prepare contact reports, status updates, and campaign tracking documents
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients on day-to-day project execution
- Ensure all deliverables are aligned with client goals and delivered on time
- Develop an understanding of client organizations, stakeholders, and fundraising priorities
- Provide administrative and coordination support as required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, marketing or sales
- Strong understanding of donor engagement and fundraising principles
- Experience supporting campaigns, events, or donor communications is considered an asset
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Experience with e-marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey, Canva, etc.)
- Familiarity with fundraising applications such as Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect, Sumac is an asset
- Familiarity with ClickUp or other project management tools
- Comfortable using AI tools to support productivity and research
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Travel to client meetings and events when required
