Description
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to grow revenue in the North American market, focusing on patio and outdoor products. Achieve targeted sales volume of $2.0-$5.0 million.
- Territory Management: Oversee the sales territory covering Canada. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners in the territory.
- Account Management: Proactively manage and grow key accounts in the outdoor/patio products segment. Conduct regular business reviews, assess client needs, and provide solutions to increase sales opportunities.
- New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding market share and reaching sales targets. Identify emerging market trends and potential product gaps to inform future product development.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Provide regular updates to the President on progress against targets, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and operational teams to ensure effective product launches, promotional activities, and timely delivery to customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the outdoor products industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a North American market.
- Strong understanding of North American retail and distribution channels in outdoor products.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel as needed across Canada.
