Description
- Lead the growth strategy for roofing and building envelope products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with roofing contractors, builders, developers, architects, consultants, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Outaouais, Ottawa, and surrounding markets.
- Work closely with branch leadership and supplier partners to drive sales growth and market share.
- Provide product expertise, technical support, and recommendations to customers.
- Conduct customer visits, job site reviews, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure exceptional customer service and project execution.
- Develop and execute annual business plans, sales targets, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within construction, building materials, roofing, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, building envelope products, or construction materials is considered a major asset.
- Proven track record of developing new business and growing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for results.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
- Bilingual French and English.
