Responsibilities:

  • Reception / Answer phone lines / Respond to emails
  • Order Entry
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Collections of overdue accounts
  • Bank Deposits
  • Government remittances
  • WSIB tracking and remittances
  • Payroll (Assist in T4/T5 creation)
  • Creation of customs documents
  • Filing – (orderly/neat maintenance of filing cabinets)
  • CHEP pallet management
  • Vendor Platform management
  • Arrangement of couriers
  • Month end bank reconciliation
  • Processing of month end reports and spreadsheets
  • Assisting in year end procedures
  • Maintenance and inventory of office supplies
  • Miscellaneous accounting and bookkeeping
  • Miscellaneous sales admin support (document/spreadsheet creation)
  • Miscellaneous errand (coffee/kitchen supplies) and projects as they arise
Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in accounting and administration
  • Good email etiquette and phone manner
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong work ethic and commitment; dependable and reliable
  • Experience with Sage 300 is an asset
