Sr Digital Product Owner
Compensation Range
$90K - $110KCompensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, and may also be influenced by internal equity and market conditions.
Digital Product Ownership
· Digital Production Support back-end technology lead across Client departments supporting alignment between
business goals and achievable technical solutions.
· Monitor and manage the technical operations of Client NAR digital properties including Client brand and Client dealer
websites.
o Manage tasks and respond to actions that support the performance, stability, and security of digital platforms.
o Leading triaging efforts with IT&S, Client teams, and vendors to swiftly resolve issues and enhance digital
platforms.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and be a technical liaison between IT, legal, marketing, sales, and Client RED to support requirements.
o Assist in development activities including Quality Assurance (QA) testing and post release verifications.
o Monitor digital platform traffic, user engagement, and business KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization, improvement, and to identify outages/platform up time.
o Create and maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, technical specifications, testing and
quality assurance plans, operations and compliance.
o Proficiency in using modern digital technologies including Adobe Experience Cloud and Salesforce products.
Technically proficient with team collaboration technologies including JIRA, Confluence, as well as developer tools including Apollo Studio, and GitHub.
· Lead the Production Support team in a product owner role overseeing prioritization and management of the team through Digital Planning Session (DPS) activities.
o Drive development to deliver production support capability for existing NAR digital Platforms spanning Web, App, Onboarding, Digital Sales, CRM & Data heavy products.
o Engage and inform management and stakeholders of developments.
o Steer cross-functional teams to support the production products and find solutions with the (Clien) AG and NAR IT departments to achieve agreed upon Service Level Agreements
o Support procurement and budgeting tasks.
o Collaborate with and steer the digital agency in terms of solutions to achieve business outcomes, based on required timelines and budget.
o Facilitate interdepartmental product owner meetings to enable sharing of agile best practices and peer coaching opportunities. · Manage the onboarding for new internal and agency digital team members/developers and empower NAR team members in development and collaboration by managing tools and technology set-ups.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Bridge between IT, sales, marketing and legal teams, leveraging a blend of business acumen and technical expertise to align objectives and deliver effective digital solutions that meet functional and compliance requirements.
· Manage timelines, budgets and quality of defined projects together with the cross-functional team, agencies and (client) Client headquarters.
· Create and expand relationships within group, vendor and agency partners across the organization. Network with contacts to support decision making and problem resolution.
· Manage vendor relationships to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and resolve issues.
Digital Production Product Reporting
· Monitor uptime and content accuracy across consumer facing digital properties.
· Analyze digital platform performance metrics and collaborate with the analytics team in report and dashboard building. Provide regular reporting and analysis updates to stakeholders on digital platform performance.
· Manage and maintain technical performance reporting systems to uphold website functionality and smooth customer journeys.
Digital Regulatory and Compliance – Canada
Manage and maintain technical and policy adherence to customer consent, website data privacy, and accessibility requirements.
Regularly collaborate with legal to ensure ongoing compliance for (client.ca) and digital properties.
Ensure pricing and inventory data is delivered, accurate and compliant. · Monitor and resolve technical issues related to compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Years of Relevant Experience Required: Total technical experience of at least 5+ years as well as experience in leading technical projects and teams
o Business and / or IT business process focus
o Relevant project management experience
o Demonstrated ability to prepare and present project strategies and plans to stakeholders.
o Capable of managing complex projects in dynamic environments.
o Capabilities of building and setting up a cohesive team and working cross-functionally.
o Strong technical experience including GraphQL, APIs, JavaScript, and a wide range of technologies and platforms
such as Adobe and Salesforce product suites.
o Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
o Strong communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written.
o Agile development experience and able to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
o Understand and apply design patterns and software architecture principles to create maintainable and extensible
systems.
o Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, using a range of tools and techniques.
o A deep understanding of software design principles and best practices, including security and performance
considerations.
o Mentor and lead teams, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their objectives.
o Skills in negotiation, influencing and problem solving.
