Description
To audit bills to ensure rate and billing accuracy. Handles customer disputes from billing discrepancies.
Inspects freight to ensure shipments are correctly billed.
- Clear all bills on the Rate Review Board
- Audit bills for rate discrepancies
- Respond to Customer disputes and work towards resolution
- Perform necessary rebills
- Perform pricing calculations
- Complete inspections for oversized freight
- Understand Pricing fundamentals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Clean criminal background
- College/University Degree or Equivalent
- Experience in the transportation services industry or a similar industry
- PC literate with experience in the use of Microsoft Office such as Outlook/Excel and Word, TMW, Freshdesk and BamKPI
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines caused by a high volume of work
- Work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers, and drivers occasionally in situations where relationships may be strained
