Description
Event Strategy & Client Experience
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of clients, developing long-term relationships through thoughtful, personalized service.
- Lead client consultations with confidence, creating tailored proposals that align with their vision, goals, and budget – while guiding them toward elevated experiences.
- Curate event concepts, including menu selections and timelines, based on event style, guest profile, and venue requirements.
- Translate confirmed events into clear, detailed production briefs to ensure seamless alignment with culinary and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate client profiles and preferences within CRM systems to support a highly personalized experience.
- Present menus and concepts in a compelling, refined manner through tastings and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with trusted vendors and partners to deliver cohesive, high-end event experiences.
- Support and mentor the Event Coordinator, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across proposals and client communications.
Planning & Execution (On-Site & Post-Event)
- Oversee events from initial planning through execution, ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
- Act as the primary on-site lead, confidently managing clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate all logistics, including staffing, timelines, setup, and service flow, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a calm, solutions-focused presence on-site, anticipating needs and resolving challenges discreetly.
- Foster strong collaboration across teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and support future business opportunities.
Qualifications
- A hospitality foundation: University degree and a least 5+ years of experience in event planning, catering, and restaurant/hotel/venue operations.
- Natural sales and relationship skills: A confident, persuasive communicator who builds lasting client and partner relationships with ease.
- Leadership in fast-paced environments: Skilled at delegating, motivating, and guiding teams to deliver flawless events.
- Results-oriented mindset: Proven ability to exceed sales targets while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
