Description

As a Data Entry Associate – Product Master Data, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, formatting, and preparing product master data from internal repositories for upload into the ERP system. Working within established data standards and procedures, you will ensure product information is complete, consistent, and accurate before submission to the Product Data Management team.

This role does not require scientific expertise; however, candidates must be comfortable working with technical product information, following documented naming and data standards, and using spreadsheets to manage product data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Extract, review, validate, and reconcile product data from primary and secondary databases/repositories, including:
    • distinguishing mixtures from single compounds;
    • recognizing concentrations and units;
    • interpreting CAS numbers;
    • applying chemical naming conventions; and
    • identifying packaging
  • Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve
  • Prepare, format, and populate new part creation templates using validated product
  • Maintain high-quality product data by performing template clean-up, documenting data changes and quality checks, and ensuring accuracy prior to
  • Submit completed templates for upload into ERP
  • Consistently apply documented procedures, sound judgment, and attention to detail to ensure accurate, reliable, and error-free product data, including:
    • strong pattern recognition when creating parts;
    • the ability to compare and reconcile multiple data sources;
    • logical decision-making when interpreting technical product information; and
    • prioritizing consistency and accuracy over
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business

 

 

Qualifications
  • No specific degree is Relevant experience in administrative support, data entry, spreadsheet management, or product/catalogue data is an asset.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and work accurately with structured
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets and working with structured
  • Experience with ERP systems, customer databases, CRM systems, or other data management tools is an asset but not
  • Ability to identify and resolve, or escalate, missing information, inconsistencies, and data quality
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail with commitment to maintain accurate, complete, and reliable
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional
