Contracts Manager

Description
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing contract execution from start to finish, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies. You will collaborate with internal teams, liaise with clients, and provide strategic guidance to ensure contract obligations are met efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setup, execution, and management of contracts for high-rise and low-rise construction projects.
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate contract terms to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate contract execution, including account setup, scope of work review, and documentation management.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, ensuring all parties meet their responsibilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Project Managers, Estimation, Sales, and Installation) to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Manage change orders and contract value adjustments based on architectural changes and site instructions.
- Support the resolution of contract-related disputes and provide solutions for installation issues.
- Train and guide internal teams on contract administration processes and best practices.
- Track contract performance, ensuring financial and operational goals are met.
- Maintain and organize detailed records of contracts, project documentation, and related materials.
- Assist in tender bids, contract awards, and pricing efforts in collaboration with the Sales Estimation Supervisor/Manager.
- Facilitate warranty and turnover documentation for completed projects.
- Maintain trackers and checklists documenting project progress and KPI’s.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and management of all Contract related documents, including shop drawings, product cut sheets, and pricing sheets for both standard products and upgrades.
- Any other related duties, under the purview of the department, that may be requested from time to time by the General Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings to ensure contract accuracy.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team while managing multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software (optional); knowledge of PlanSwift or related Estimation software’s is a must.
