Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop consultative partnerships with hiring managers and HR team to set the direction and understand the hiring needs to execute sourcing and recruiting strategies for assigned business unit(s).
  • Perform full-life cycle recruiting, including intake requirements, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting of qualified talent, owning the hiring process throughout.
  • Review and update job descriptions and job postings.
  • Maintain open, real-time communication, internally and externally, ensuring best-in-class candidate/manager experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maximize sourcing channels, networks, diversity channels, social media, university relations, career fairs, etc.
  • Identify gaps in the talent demand/supply and actively work with stakeholders to bridge the gaps.
  • Maximize utilization of market research techniques to enable more effective and efficient hiring.
  • Evaluate and share the results of your own productivity and effectiveness through regular distribution of defined performance metrics.
  • Participate, collaborate, and support HR related projects.
  • Act as a Company champion continuously providing feedback and assisting with process improvement implementation.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary degree in Human Resources and/or 5+ years of relevant experience within a similar role or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in talent networking with proven success converting prospects to applicants.
  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience within a corporate environment.
  • Recruiting experience using social media (i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook, , etc.) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to develop, maintain and communicate appropriate metrics, interpret trends, and adjust strategies as needed in response to changing market conditions.
  • Customer focused, adaptable, with superb follow up and organizational skills.
  • Innovative & creative mindset for suggesting ideas that improve talent pool sources.
  • Results oriented & strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Hiring Managers).
  • Passionate about finding the best talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to partner well with others to effectively accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Provincial employment law and policies as they apply to recruitment and selection.
  • Previous RPO experience considered an asset
