Senior Mechanical Estimator

We are looking for a senior mechanical estimator with a minimum of 5 years of direct estimating experience who can take ownership of the bid process from initial review through post-bid handoff.

This role is suited for an estimator who understands mechanical systems in detail, controls scope, and can produce accurate, defensible pricing—with or without estimating software.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead full mechanical estimates for:
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Hydronic systems
• Prepare hard bids, budgets, and design-build estimates
• Perform detailed drawing and specification reviews
• Develop accurate quantities and labor/material pricing
• Obtain, analyze, and validate vendor pricing
• Review subcontractor pricing and confirm full scope coverage
• Identify gaps, exclusions, and risks within the bid documents
• Provide value engineering input when applicable
• Prepare and submit complete bid packages
• Conduct post-bid handoff to the project management team
• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as required
