Responsibilities:
General Management and Strategic Advice for Fundraising Revenue Program Efforts:
• Act as a general manager for fundraising revenue growth where you will oversee both existing fundraising revenue programs (including managing vendor relationships) and provide strategic advice on how to grow revenue opportunities beyond those that already exist.
• Bring deep knowledge and oversight of the various fundraising revenue programs to actively participate in strategy management team, staff, committee, and national meetings, including reporting on specific program status and initiatives as required.
• Provide strategic advice on how to improve the financial results from the fundraising revenue programs.
• Act as a strategic and tactical advisor on how to achieve both incremental improvements in existing programs, and transformational strategic suggestions for fundraising revenue program efforts.
Vendor Management:
• For all vendors, monitor contractual agreements for and ensure compliance (including invoicing).
• Co-ordinate and act as the lead for all campaign and vendor review meetings with the manufacturer and logistics vendor.
• Monitor the private label baking, logistics, and branded merchandise environments to keep informed of price trends, supply/demand, new technologies, and changes in supplier strategies. Leveraging knowledge to continue to identify optimization opportunities with the existing and future fundraising revenue programs.
• When the time comes, to manage and coordinate with key internal stakeholders regarding the negotiations for updated vendor contracts.
Internal Stakeholder Management:
• Manage a team, providing leadership and guidance on the execution of fundraising revenue programs.
• Nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the organization (national and community levels) to conduct needs analysis and incorporate feedback to continually optimize and improve the various fundraising revenue programs that your team is responsible for.
• Role model and promote of a positive work environment that is inclusive for all team members.
• Apply organizational policies regarding diversity & inclusivity to content, communications, customer service and stakeholder relationships.
Financial:
• Build business cases grounded in strong financial analysis to support suggestions on how to improve fundraising revenue programs tactically and strategically.
• Prepare and gather approval on annual and quarterly cost budgets, monitor progress and provide updates to the relevant stakeholders
• Manage and ensure invoices are paid to the vendors on time, in concert with the Senior Manager Finance
• Establish and manage reporting of Key Performance Indicators for vendors relating to manufacturing services, logistics management, and quality assurance requirements.

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields (Supply Chain Management), MBA is considered an asset.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in a sourcing/purchasing/procurement management, brand management, vendor management, or similar role.
• History of providing strategic commercial advice to either internal stakeholders or external clients.
• Demonstrated a history of successfully leading teams with a multi-faceted mandate.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task effectively in a multifaceted, fast paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional partners, seek common ground and establish alignment on common goals and future change.
• Strong understanding of procurement and logistics policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ability to monitor contracts for compliance.
• Effective planning and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong financial and business orientation.
• Ability to tell a story with data, visually and verbally, to guide conversations with business managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with senior management, staff, volunteer committees and ’s Board of Directors.
• An appreciation of a membership-based, not for profit culture which includes an understanding of the requirements of operating as a Registered Charity in Canada.

Additional Assets:
• Experience working in a non-profit or volunteer environment.
• French language skills/fluency (and any other language spoken in Canada)
