Senior Associate Litigator

Description
- Carriage of files.
- Preparing opinions and pleadings.
- Conducting EUOs, Discoveries, Case Conferences, Mediations, Arbitrations, Pre-trials and Trials.
- Developing file resolution strategies and engaging in settlement negotiations.
- Reporting to clients.
- Contributing to our industry through a variety of opportunities: speeches, papers, training, and industry events.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in insurance defence litigation (must be licensed in Ontario);
- Deep knowledge of Accident Benefits and tort (experience with anti-fraud, property and/or coverage is an asset);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
- Solid research skills;
- A robust work ethic;
- The ability to prioritize and work in consideration of deadlines;
- A growth mindset
