Sales & Marketing Manager

Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales efforts and develop strategic marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with companies such as (but not limited to) meat processors, mushroom growers, and produce farms through phone calls and visits within North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand the company’s footprint.
- Conducting market research and staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities.
- Work with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and stock of products.
- Support business expansion for consumable meat trays, stretch film, tray padding while continuing to increase packaging equipment sales.
- Providing excellent customer service and support before, during, and after the sale.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and improve company revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing teams to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Create and oversee innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives that enhance brand visibility and drive lead generation.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with product development, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset for identifying operational efficiencies in trade show organization and sales reporting.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- 5-10 years of sales experience in a leadership capacity, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in the food packaging industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
- Proven ability to adapt in a fast-changing market and develop creative sales and marketing strategies.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools and analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
