Quality Control Supervisor/Manager

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes for all audio, visual, and lighting equipment. Ensure that all products and systems meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
- Testing & Inspection: Supervise and conduct thorough testing of AV equipment to detect any defects, malfunctions, or inconsistencies. Ensure full and proper functionality before equipment is sent to clients or events.
- Troubleshooting, Calibration & Optimization: Diagnose technical issues and coordinate with other teams to develop and implement effective solutions to maintain high performance and consistency.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine quality control procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Provide recommendations to leadership team for enhancements in equipment handling and maintenance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all quality control tests, calibrations, and resolutions of technical issues. Generate reports to track quality metrics and identify trends.
- Team Leadership & Training: Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing training and guidance on best practices. Ensure your team members stay up to date with the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Service, Production & Operation teams to identify quality concerns and implement improvements in workflow and product reliability.
Qualifications
- 10 + years experience in Audio-Visual industry with a minimum of 5+ in quality control/ equipment testing.
- Strong technical knowledge of all audio-visual equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead a team and effectively communicate with cross-functional departments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in documenting quality control processes and reporting findings.
