Compensation Range
$85K - $95KCompensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, and may also be influenced by internal equity and market conditions.
Description
- Supervises the workflow, training, and development of Quality staff.
- Assess production process issues and recommend improvements.
- Partners with production and all departments to ensure a customer-centric & food safety culture and sustain best practices.
- Supervises product testing to ensure procedure accuracy.
- Assists in developing and implementing Quality assurance programs to meet production standards and customer requirements.
- Builds strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and peers.
- ADP Timecard Management
- Vacation planning and Scheduling – Ensure no gaps between technicians and have full coverage across shifts
- Oversee employee on-the-job training
- Complete monthly safety training or HR training
- Ability and comfort working with production data; report generation, review, communication and use of associated metrics in improvement of the production process
- Assist the Scheduling Department in defining and maintaining workflow through the department and ensuring adequate supply of materials for your shift’s operation
- Complies with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) and any job or department specific SOPs.
- Works with the team on root cause investigations for internal and external opportunities.
- Ensures complete execution of the QMS and Food Safety Systems.
- Works with teams to develop and implement best practice standardization.
- Recommends manufacturing or technology aids to increase speed and efficiency of Quality products.
- Mentor and develop Quality Technicians and support teams members
- Special Projects & other duties as necessary
- Ability to adjust to a changing environment and daily priorities
Qualifications
- Successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and be familiar with inspection techniques and Quality standards.
- Minimum of 2 years experience, BS degree, or equivalent industry experience
- Must have leadership skills and be able to lead a team
- Ability to read, write and speak for company communications and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience/proficiency with PC, mouse, keyboard, and Microsoft Office software
