Compensation Range

Description
- Account management for assigned client portfolio by auditing and ensuring tax compliance
- Servicing clients by providing exceptional customer service
- Manage and process full cycle payroll processing
- Process new hires, terminations, generate client specific reports, document client specific business process and ongoing maintenance of client data
- Verify documents being sent from clients to ensure all applicable documents are accounted for and accurate
- Provide payroll support services to clients according to the companies service agreement
- Primary point of contact for the client
- Maintain client relationship to ensure client is satisfied which assists in determining potential problems, client satisfaction and escalate concerns if necessary
- Maintain Production Notes in the client profile for specific requirements for their applicable service level
- Manage requests from clients with respect to setup changes e. new codes, benefits, pension etc.
- Coordinate/communicate information to the Payroll Manager and Sales Manager regarding changes to new service requirements as applicable. i.e. opening a new location, business number changes etc.
- Review and audit T4/R1 throughout the year to ensure T4/RL1 are accurate (i.e. additional year end runs and/or backwork)
- Reconciliations where necessary and communicate and receive written approval for any additional charges prior to beginning the work
- Working with the team for overflow and coverage (i.e. vacation, sick, )
- Manage C-S in dispatch, monitor client authorizations, and rejected direct deposits in accordance with the defined policies
- Communication and interaction within and with other departments
- Perform other assignments/duties as directed/required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience processing payroll
- Multi-provincial payroll is an asset
- NPI certification: at a minimum PCP is in progress
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and client services skills along with the ability to prioritize
- Experience in payroll balancing and Year End processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
