Description
The responsibilities and accountabilities of the Market Development Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high-level technical support to our dealer network and their customers.
- Advanced training to dealers, end users, and the sales team.
- To collaborate with contractors and Integrators on system design and applications.
- Exploring new business opportunities in the commercial install segment.
- Be a Brand Ambassador for the company and assist in the planning and execution of customer-facing events.
- Create content such as videos and comparison charts for training and marketing support.
- To support our Audio & Music Production Product Marketing Manager in various capacities by providing competitive intelligence for market and SWOT analyses to the organization.
- Attending various conferences and Trade Shows representing the company.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of the following experience and qualifications:
- Deep knowledge and experience on high-end digital mixers.
- High-level knowledge of Networked Audio Systems.
- A working knowledge of Unified Communication systems and their applications.
- Dante Certification and experience with control software/hardware such as ProVisionaire, Crestron, etc., is also required.
- AVIXA CTS Certification would also be an asset.
- Direct experience using Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills is required.
- Demonstrating success in translating product specifications into end-user features and benefits is preferred.
- Experience in presenting product information to a broad audience, up to and including senior leaders in an organization.
- Experience collaborating across multiple geographies and cultures is required.
