Job Title: Manager of Accounts and Sales

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Account Managers and Account Executives
• Manage team KPIs and prepare bi-weekly, monthly, and semi-annual reports for the General Manager
• Position new Service Contracts, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Retrofits, and Energy Projects directly with end-users
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects/initiatives concurrently
• Prospect and obtain new customers. Confidently and persuasively connecting our offerings to their business needs
• Strategically manage a select number of target and strategic accounts. Drive incremental revenue growth with the defined accounts while becoming a trusted partner
• As a leader in your field, be an advisor to your client base by assessing capital needs, planning and executing turnkey projects
• Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers
• Generate an active sales pipeline using our CRM. Accurately forecast project and service opportunities while demonstrating the ability to move opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Actively participate in industry events, network with key decision makers, influence industry contacts and collaborate internally to create business opportunities
• Effectively perform needs analysis assessments, qualify opportunities, develop sales presentations, proposals and estimates for clearly defined pursuits
• Establish regular and consistent educational sessions with customers in core vertical markets
• Work directly with building owners to identify and establish KPI’s that can be directly measured and reported on by installed technology offerings (SaaS)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business Development, or Account Management experience in the construction industry
• 2+ years as a people leader
• Understand customers buying behaviours and be able to strategically connect with decision makers
• Financial acumen in positioning ROI
• Be a natural collaborator, innovator, and problem solver, that can work with multiple stakeholders including Company BU leads, sales and marketing
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and position other Company offerings by positioning SME’s during pursuits
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or field experience is an asset
• Be a motivated result-oriented sales professional that is driven to be successful
• Demonstrate customer empathy and an ability to see things from their perspective, with an understanding that every decision impacts the customer experience
• Post-secondary education or related combination of education and experience
• Professional sales designation or course related material is considered an asset
• Accomplished Sales Professional that understands strategic selling
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful, problem-solver that is energetic and able to manage multiple priorities
