Description
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including tracking, documentation, and booking.
- Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including the operation team, customers, carriers, and customs offices, to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
- Review shipping documents, such as bills of lading and commercial invoices, to ensure compliance.
- Monitor and track shipments using our internal systems and external platforms, providing regular updates to customers, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the resolution of any operational problems or delays, working closely with the operations team to find creative solutions and minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all shipments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an asset.
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar industry is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, and team members.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all documentation and information is handled correctly.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think creatively and find solutions to operational challenges.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
