Job Title: HR Manager

Responsibilities:
– Assists with recruitment process by tracking candidates, communicating with recruiting agencies
and candidates.
– Schedules and organizes interviews for hiring team members.
– Handles pre-screening of applicants.
– Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records and documentation by
keeping them up-to-date and accurate.
– Provides leadership and consulting support in areas of change management, conflict resolution,
performance management, progressive discipline, talent management, compensation and
employee development.
– Ensures compliance with all Government legislation and requirements
– Conducts or assists with new hire onboarding including preparation of new employee files, set up
entries into databases and new hire orientation packages
– Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are
collected and filed appropriately.
– Maintains, complies and reconciles with all corporate HR guidelines and procedures.
– Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies,
benefits, hiring processes.
– Maintains all benefit packages and programs, ensuring registration completeness, cost approvals,
and maintenance.
– Fosters and maintain positive working relationships with managers and employees.
– Maintains employee benefit packages.
– Updates HR related policies as required.
– Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:
-Has or is actively pursuing CHRP or CHRL designation.
– Five or more years in a Human Resource role.
– Ability to maintain confidential information
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a
proven ability to meet deadlines
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
– Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
– Knowledge of labour laws and regulations across all Canadian provinces.
– Ability to work with variety of teams as well as independently.
– Strong communication skills both written and oral.
– Legally entitled to work in Canada.
– Fluent in English (written and oral). Fluency in French an asset.
