$110KWe are looking for a seasoned HR professional, with proven expertise across a variety of functions within the broader HR portfolio, combined with a willingness and ability to learn and grow in other areas. The ideal candidate will have the unique ability to handle administrative and strategic requirements simultaneously. He/she must be willing to roll up their sleeves with superior attention to detail and accuracy to manage recruitment of junior to senior level positions, on-boarding and off-boarding, employee health and safety as well as provide hands-on administration and management of our payroll (Ceridian), a broad benefits portfolio, attendance management (TimeOut) and e-learning (HRdownloads) systems and applications. Strategically, the successful candidate must be resourceful and experienced researching, developing and implementing policies, programs and processes. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, trainer, coach and mentor to all levels of staff. He/she must also be an excellent communicator, verbal and written, able to facilitate workshops and both create and deliver presentations. The individual must be very analytical, able to see inter and intra connections in the small details and plan for and execute on the greater implications.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have a broad HR background with in-depth expertise in a minimum of two areas relevant to this role
• Build credibility and relationships amongst all levels of staff and external partners
• Demonstrate sound business judgement
• Champion an inclusive and respectful workplace
• Show empathy combined with the ability to be fair, impartial and consistent, with a strong business focus
• Have a solid working knowledge of MSO Word, PPT and EXCEL
• Be very proficient, detailed, and accurate working with data, numbers and calculations
• Be comfortable with payroll and benefits administration
• Have a post-graduate degree or diploma, combined with HR professional certification and/or a minimum of 7 years progressive work experience in the Human Resources field
• Be English/French bilingual (an asset)
