Compensation Range

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide administrative support for the recruitment process by overseeing the background & reference check process, & creating job offer letters
- Facilitate recruitment process of casual part-time employees by selecting candidates, conducting interviews and administering testing requirements
- Onboarding new hires including conducting orientation, set up of employees in our systems and assigning HR training modules
- Maintain probationary tracking and Performance Evaluation reporting
- Process documents & letters for employee changes, leaves and terminations and inputting and maintaining confidential employee records in our human resource data bases, computer software systems
- Maintain employee & HR files & systems
- Answer general employee questions and promote an open door in addressing concerns. Maintain a positive and sustainable relationship with the union and non-union employees
- Support the Manager, HR Services with various KPI reports: Demographic, Turnover, Absenteeism reports and tracking, TPT hours and vacation reports and by preparing regular and ad hoc reports and documents to support monitoring of HR metrics
- Assist with implementing HR processes and ensuring consistency
- Complete the monthly Union reporting requirements, if applicable
- Complete weekly TPT schedule, if applicable
- Support employee engagement events and activities
- Maintain attendance records for production personnel and assist in the tracking and documentation of the discipline process
- Draft all disciplines for performance related infractions
- Work in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policy, SOPs & Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Facilities
Qualifications
- Successful completion of post secondary education through accredited institution in HR Management or related field
- Completion of CHRM or be in progress to complete
- 1 -3 years’ experience in HR or customer service
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft (Word/Excel) and HRIS
- Strong values and ethics to work in a confidential and professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully and professionally at all times
- High attention to detail, accuracy & organization skills
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills & ability to prioritize
- Ability to deal with issues in a confidential manner
