Glazing Estimator
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and modify price lists.
• Read tender package, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Prepare Material Takeoffs and quotations.
• Attending site-meeting to prepare an accurate estimate.
• Ensure shop drawings are complete and approved by the clients.
• Develops a trusting relationship with builders and subcontractors to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Assist with takeoff and estimation on residential projects.
• Any other related duties that may be requested from time to time by the General manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a glazing estimator.
• Knowledge of C.R.Laurance, INKAN and similar industry related Glazing Products.
• Experience with AutoCAD is an asset.
• Any related Sales or Field experience is an asset.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Architectural Diploma, estimating certificate, or education in the related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with excellent time management to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience in using computer programs specific to this role (Word, Excel, outlook, Planswift).
