Responsibilities:
• Manage and prioritize incoming shipments to ensure timely receipt and processing.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Supervise and train warehouse associates in inbound procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Conduct inspections of incoming goods to verify quality, quantity, and adherence to specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all incoming shipments, including receipts, packing slips, and inventory records.
• Oversee the organization and storage of incoming materials in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in periodic cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accuracy.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
• Collaborate with other departmental supervisors and managers to coordinate inbound activities with outbound operations and overall warehouse functions.
• Analyze performance metrics and KPIs related to inbound operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of inbound logistics processes, including receiving, inspection, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operation
