Description
Dispatcher/Customer Service Representatives (2 Shifts Available – see below)
3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. | 5:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
- Plan and schedule drivers efficiently, resulting in the reduction/elimination of non-revenue hours, empty miles, and an increase in driver productivity.
- Manage and direct all incoming inquiries through the dispatch telephone lines to ensure a clear, efficient flow of information to the appropriate people.
- Be the first point of contact for drivers regarding scheduling and work availability.
- Communicate with drivers to ensure that appointment delivery times are met.
- Monitor special driver requirements for each site to ensure they are being adhered to.
- Report all driver issues to the Driver & Fleet Manager for follow-up/progressive discipline.
- Complete customer reporting and tracking spreadsheets as required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be able to be flexible with hours
- Dispatch experience required
- MS Office Experience required
- Must be able to multi-task in high stress situations
