Digital Marketing – Ecommerce Specialist
Salary/Compensation
$85KPlanning (20%):
• Collaborate with the leadership team in the planning of D2C expansion.
• Align with internal stakeholders on implementation tactics.
• Develop ecommerce reporting dashboards (with the support of business insights team), and utilize insights to guide growth and optimization efforts.
• Work with leadership team in the identification of new channels/opportunities to grow D2C business.
Business Operations (40%):
• Manage the day-to-day operations of D2C eCommerce sites (Shopify) across the US and Canada with a focus on growing sales.
• Take a leadership role in the planning and execution of new brand launches and assortment expansion across D2C portfolio.
• Expand channel mix by rolling out D2C products across external marketplaces (Wayfair, HBC…).
• Conduct product, competitor and keywork research to identify new products and categories to expand into.
• Lead launch efforts across various channels (selecting new products for each channel, creating listings, merchandising, promotions, content optimization).
• Forecast inventory required for each channel and liaise with various teams (product planning, procurement, fulfilment, customer service, business insights, webmaster) to ensure smooth operations.
• Conducting regular audits of sites/product listings to ensure proper operations.
Marketing (40%):
• Manage the relationship with vendors, marketplaces and agencies with a focus on growing D2C sales across various channels.
• Develop launch calendars, product listings content and merchandising plans.
• Create promotional calendars and customer acquisition incentives to drive sales.
• Develop email marketing campaigns and curriculums to drive sales, build loyalty and maximize customer life time value.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO.
• Develop social engagement strategy to build awareness, engagement and sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop content and manage the execution of social strategy.
• Manage paid social campaigns and optimize performance to improve ROI
• Collaborate with agency partners on paid search, shopping, display, programmatic campaigns to drive traffic, grow sales and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with design team on the development and execution of creative assets and marketing material adhering to brand guidelines.
• Act as a subject matter expert on digital marketing execution and best practices across various channels.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• 3-6 years of experience in D2C eCommerce
• Genuine passion for digital marketing and quality consumer engagement
• Extensive experience generating significant monthly revenue with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce
• Strong SEO skills
• Experience with web and eCommerce reporting platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe analytics or similar
• Exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Experience managing paid campaigns on social platforms
• Experience developing content for social platforms
• Creative, proficient and comfortable at problem solving and troubleshooting
• Fully proficient using MS Office, Google docs or similar platforms Advanced copywriting skills and experience will be considered a strong asset
• Experience managing paid search or display campaigns considered an asset
• Knowledge of HTML, Image editing considered an asset
