Description
Responsibilities:
- Reception / Answer phone lines / Respond to emails
- Order Entry
- Invoicing
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Collections of overdue accounts
- Bank Deposits
- Government remittances
- WSIB tracking and remittances
- Payroll (Assist in T4/T5 creation)
- Creation of customs documents
- Filing – (orderly/neat maintenance of filing cabinets)
- CHEP pallet management
- Vendor Platform management
- Arrangement of couriers
- Month end bank reconciliation
- Processing of month end reports and spreadsheets
- Assisting in year end procedures
- Maintenance and inventory of office supplies
- Miscellaneous accounting and bookkeeping
- Miscellaneous sales admin support (document/spreadsheet creation)
- Miscellaneous errand (coffee/kitchen supplies) and projects as they arise
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in accounting and administration
- Good email etiquette and phone manner
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong work ethic and commitment; dependable and reliable
- Experience with Sage 300 is an asset
