Job Duties

  • Maintain a high level of service to existing customers by managing the customer relationship
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue via tradeshows, school visits, cold calling, etc.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Through a full schedule of daily sales visits, this role will promote to individual schools the benefits of doing business with the company.
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s) while meeting with new or existing clients
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, yearly and adhoc reports as required
  • Participate in company wide marketing initiatives
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
  • Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
  • College or University Degree in related field or relevant work experience is preferred
  • 50%-75% of time will be spent travelling for sales calls – occasional overnight travel will be required
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in either Sales or Educational Products required
  • Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook. As well as the ability to utilize company software and databases to perform essential duties of this position
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
  • In possession of a reliable vehicle, no older than 6 years and to be maintained in a manner that clients can be driven in (if necessary). The vehicle must also be capable of transporting several boxes and marketing material to display at shows as needed.
  • A laptop and Smartphone will be provided
  • Valid Passport
  • Experience with Sales Force is considered an asset or other CRM products
