Jr. Warehouse Supervisor

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks,
    monitoring performance and providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely inbound, storage, and outbound of goods, while
    maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize operational
    efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and logistics, to coordinate
    the flow of goods and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper
    storage and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety
    issues.
  • Design and implement efficient warehouse layout and storage systems.
  • Monitor expenses and manage the budget for warehouse operations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Resolve quality-related issues in collaboration with Quality department.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity.
  • Train and develop warehouse staff, including providing ongoing coaching and
    feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.

 

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse
    management is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a
    diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle
    multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
