Inside Sales Engineer
Responsibilities:
The inside Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality pre-sales technical support to both the company sales organization and our valued customers. This dynamic Sales Engineer (SE) collaborates closely with clients, providing crucial support to sales representatives and sales management. The SE excels at qualifying sales opportunities, swiftly addressing any technical challenges that may arise during the sales process, assisting clients in defining specifications and requirements, and effectively presenting technical information to audiences of varying sizes. Additionally, the SE takes charge of training sales representatives on technologies and products.
• Responsively addressing sales and customer inquiries, both over the phone and in-person.
• Offering technical support to internal sales representatives and external customers.
• Compiling technical data to prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
• Identifying and procuring technologies and solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Formulating technical responses and strategies for Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Developing a pricing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Conducting technical training and providing guidance to sales representatives and management.
• Offering comprehensive customer support throughout the post-sale process until resolution.
• Ensuring the accuracy of technical content in all customer orders.
• Designing customer technical solutions with the creation of engineering diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Articulating and highlighting the technical advantages of products and services.
• Providing technical training and guidance to sales as needed.
• Identifying sales opportunities and offering recommendations to enhance business growth.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of experience in the Hydraulic industry, with a background in a related technical sales support role.
• Holds a degree in mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills, coupled with proficiency in computer usage.
• Possesses strong on-site problem-solving capabilities, especially under time constraints.
• Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the global Hydraulic landscape.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Proven self-starting ability, taking initiative and thriving in a team environment.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
• Exemplary organizational skills and effective time management planning.
• Understanding of the sales cycle and expertise in the solution selling process.
