Digital Marketing Manager

Description
- Providing supervision, direction, and performance feedback to the digital marketing team including Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist, and Growth Marketer.
- Identifying employee developmental needs and offering appropriate support and coaching.
- Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, sales and awareness.
- Leading the digital acquisition and nurturing strategy for new and existing prospects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Supporting and collaborating with the marketing team, branches, and business areas on executing effective digital marketing programs.
- Reviewing and improving existing digital marketing programs, tracking and reporting on key performance metrics to leadership monthly.
- Supporting the Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist in developing and executing the firm’s social media activities across platforms.
- Building strong, productive relationships across the organization and helping their digital marketing team navigate the business areas.
- Managing third-party agencies, vendor relationships, budgets, planning, and invoice processing.
- Other duties or special projects as required.
Qualifications
- A University or College Degree/Diploma in Digital Marketing, Communications, Marketing, or a related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Five (5) or more years of digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Experience with consumer driven ecommerce platforms.
- Proven experience leading and managing a digital marketing team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing specialists.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- A strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- Proficient in digital marketing disciplines, particularly SEM, social, SEO, display, content and lead generation.
- You are passionate about data, comfortable reviewing and analyzing data (Google Analytics, Performance reports, 3rd party data) and developing reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Prior experience with the successful execution of online marketing campaigns, including website management/development, digital production management, UX, design, landing pages and forms is an asset.
- Experience with content management systems and other digital marketing tools.
- Experience with various social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Hootsuite).
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization such as HTML, URL structures, keyword analysis, content optimization, search engine crawlers, indexes, algorithms.
- Knowledgeable in CASL, Privacy Act and Data security measures.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience working with and managing external vendors.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
