Description
- Function as a customer liaison with Production, Shipping, Accounting and Sales teams.
- Provide Customers with Quotations for Material using company ‘Flute’ software.
- Set up Customer Profiles to enable quoting and Order Entry.
- Enter orders from customers emailed Purchase orders and email back their Order Confirmations.
- When working remotely email copies of Order Confirmations and Customer Purchase Orders to Independent for printing and Double Checks.
- Provide clients with relevant product information and advise them of our Production Limitations. Refer customers to Sales Reps when needed.
- Update Docket information with relevant product descriptions, pricing, and shipping details.
- Obtain shipping costs from carriers and blend into our selling price when necessary.
- Expedite order deliveries when needed with Production and Shipping Departments.
- Notify clients of upcoming pricing/product/operational changes and/or limitations.
- Focus on responding to Assigned Customer List in a Pleasant and Professional Manner.
- Advise other members of Sales Service team if Customer Workload Sharing is required due to either too much or not enough work.
- Order Ink Drawdowns for clients and expedite completion to a satisfactory colour match.
- Approve Colours or obtain second opinion (if required) when accepting or rejecting the quality match of a drawdown.
- Arrange and expedite delivery of drawdowns to clients.
- Create/Maintain/Update storage files and/or file drawdowns for customer/production access to facilitate order processing.
- Obtain Ink costs from suppliers and quote customers.
- Update ‘Flute’ Software Database with ink costs and ink formulas.
- Continually expand your knowledge and keep up to date about our Processes, Products, Papers, and Coatings.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous CSR experience within a manufacturing or production related industry
- Strong ability to learn new software and systems
- Strong grammar and written communication skills (about 90% of the CSR role is on email – needs to be accurate and concise)
